During the tour we pass beautiful islands such as Styrsö, Brännö and Känsö before heading out to the open sea. Vinga towers over the horizon, and you get the chance to enjoy the fantastic archipelago views.
Vinga – An Island With History
When we arrive in Vinga we gather for a brief information about the island's history, including its life and legend of Evert Taube. With an aperitif in hand you can take a walk to Taube's house and visit the iconic lighthouse.
Enjoy a Magnificent Seafood Buffet
During your walk we will serve a fantastic seafood buffet with seafood purchased that morning at the fish auction in Gothenburg. Enjoy a delicious mix of crab, lobster, shrimp and mussels, served with bread, aioli and mayonnaise in the classic West Coast style. Eat as much as you want!
The buffet is enjoyed in good company, either on a cliff or in our cozy boathouse, Prickeskulet, in bad weather.

Good to know!
People with back or neck problems and pregnant women may in some cases be advised against traveling. It all depends on the type of problem, how far along in the pregnancy you are, and the weather conditions on the day. Contact us if you are unsure.
We always adjust the speed according to the prevailing weather and if the guests have any requests about how we should drive the boat.
We provide guests with a float suit, goggles, hat and gloves. The float suit is very warm and a sweater is enough underneath if the air temperature is around 10 – 15 degrees. You should wear sturdy shoes as these can get wet during the trip. For trips where the temperature is below 10 degrees, we recommend that you wear thicker shoes, boots or ankle boots and a thick sweater or base layer.
